THE COLONIST The Colonist was organized soon after the be- ginning of the fall term under the direction of a committee of interested students with the aid of Mr. Hier and Miss Plankinton. On November first an editorial staff was chosen from among the members of the full staff to direct the work of the Colonist. Early in November arrangements were made to have a photographer take portrait pictures of all students whose pictures were not already on file in the Colonist office. These pictures were taken in mid-December, as were most of the group pictures and several candid and athletic photos. Final photo- graphic work was completed early in the new year. This year, for the first time, a senior class was organized, and a section of the book was devoted ex- clusively to this group. Plans for future yearbooks include enlargement of this section.
