College bowling fans organized and formed eight teams-Snickers, Ping, Super-live, But- terfingers, Forever Yours, Fifth Avenue, Oh Henry, and Powerhouse. Each Sunday night the keglers of TCC met at the K. of C. alleys in Endicott and vied for standings and prizes. In the middle of the year the pin topplers bowling activities were transferred from the K. of C. to the Laurel Bowlodrome in Binghamton. One of the most popular members of the bowling league was treasurer Bob Ritchie. It was Bob who furnished the prize money for the high scorers after each Sunday's performance. At the completion of the bowling season in the spring of 19519 the ten-pin enthusiasts met at their annual banquet where prizes were awarded to the seasonls outstanding bowlers. Awards were presented recognizing the year's winning team, the high single game, male and female, the high triple games, male and female, and the high average.

REPS At a Candlight Tea on November 22, 1948, Thalians, second women's society at Triple Cities College, was organized for the purpose of promoting comradeship among the students. Among the activi- ties of the group have been assistance to the Polio Drive, cooperation with the Colonial Players, enter- tainment of the incoming freshmen, and participation in the social activities of the college. 41

It was formed in the fall of 1948 by students interested in the various sociological fields which might present any vocational possi- bilities. The class work in this field was supplemented by a trip to the Elmira Reformatory, attendance at a trial in Binghamton, and movies on such topics as religious prejudice and racial discrimination. The BARBARA MURRAY ROBERT ATTISANI TAIT ROBERTSON MR. CRESPI, MR. PISANI club has also brought in various speakers among whom, were Mr. MacGorvie, a native of Africa, who talked about the tribal customs of his people. Mr. Irving jacks was another outstanding speaker pre- sented by the clubg he spoke on the clinical treat- ment of juvenile delinquents.
