MR. BENJAMIN HOPKINS MOSES was well pre- pared for his duties as Registrar by his studies at Lackawanna Business College, Wyoming Seminary, Penn State Engineer-Extension, Syracuse University, and Harvard University Graduate School. Although primarily a political science major, it is evident that Mr. Moses is well versed in many fields. An instructor in political science at Syracuse Uni- versity in 1936, Mr. Moses rapidly advanced to the position of Assistant Dean of Men. One of the pioneers in the formation of TCC, Mr. Moses acted as resident director of the Syracuse University Extension School at Endicott. MR. JACK F. KIMBALL, former Director of stu- dent Personnel, is now on leave of absence, con- tinuing his studies at Columbia University. Mr. Kimball previously served as assistant to the Dean of the Liberal Arts College at Kansas City University, from which he graduated before studying at Syracuse University. Mr. Kimball was a Navy Lieutenant and an As- sistant Personnel Officer during the war. He also taught a course in communications at the OfIicer's Training School at Newport, Rhode Island. Coordinating personnel counselling services, stu- dent health services, housing, and job placement was Mr. Kimball's chief duty at Triple Cities College. MISS ELIZABETH PLANKINTON, Counsellor of Women from 1946 to 1948, is now Director of Stu- dent Personnelg she is one of three women in the country to hold that position. She obtained her B. A. in English at the Univer- sity of Oregon and her M. A. in personnel at Syra- cuse University. During the war she served as a Spar ofhcer in Washington, D. C. Miss Plankinton, still in charge of counselling the ever-increasing number of coeds, also is instrumental in planning and executing the student personnel pro- gram, special college planning committees and has charge of all secretarial personnel, H J w .-',, I mufw i,,'. MR. MICHAEL SCELSI, new Counsellor of Men, is well known in the Triple Cities area. He is a graduate of Union-Endicott High School and received his de- gree from Louisiana State University in 1939. MR. FRITZ L. HIER, director of public relations and instructor of journalism, is a graduate of Dart- mouth College. He received his M. A. from Syracuse University. MR. MARION A. NELSON received his B. S. and M. A. in Business Administration and Economics at the University of South Dakota. He taught at North- western University before becoming Business Mana- ger at Triple Cities College. E 'M' S . ,, ' I ' f x tee.-1 1. NURSE ANNE MEADE is a graduate of the Massa- chusetts General Hospital in Boston. She also served as member of the Army Nurse Corps in the European Theater. DR. JOHN MALLORY, hours one to two, is a graduate of Syracuse University. In addition to his services to the college, he is a practicing physician in the Endicott area. MR. HERBERT LEET is a graduate of Syracuse University. He served as a member of the library staff of the Ovid Central School before assuming his duties as TCC Librarian in September 1947.
