GE ERAI This fall the G.O. presi- dential gavel was placed in the hand of Dan Petras. Mary Multer served as Vice-Presi- dent, Joan Walls, Secretary, and Valerie Griffith as Treasurer with Mr. John Gable as Advisor. Major General Organization proj- ects included a campaign to bolster student sportmanship, plans to start a Russian Club, the sale of yearbooks by G.O. representatives, a stricter G.O. attendance rule, a new way of electing G.O. representatives, the sending of delegates to the Student Government local conference and the Elk's Club Leadership Contest meeting. Also, plans for a memorial for deceased faculty members and students were proposed. It collect- ed the activity fees rapidly and with success. Color the dances sponsored by G.O. Groovy and the Teacher Appreciation Day thoughtful.
