Cafeteria . .-..,4. Row l: Mrs. Euleta Hayes, Mrs. Reva Andrews, Mrs. Margaret Williams. Row 2: Miss Mildred Morgan, Mrs. Dorothy G. Ramage. Boy, am I hungry! Well, let's go to the cafeteria and get a really good meal. This is a typical conversation in the halls of Central at ll :37 each noon hour. Located on the basement floor, the cafeteria is one of our most popular places. Some bring their own lunch and just buy milk or soup, while others prefer the nutritious and reasonably priced plate lunch. See you in the cafeteria! Custodians Row l: Michael Hudak, William J. Ford, George A. For- SYCY, ThOm3-S C011U6lly, Charles Whitcomb. .Thorough and efficient seem to be the only adjectives capable of describing the work of our custodians. One must realize the full scope of their duties to know the merit that they deserve. Not only must they be responsible for taking care of many emergencies, but they must also clean the building regularly. Our custodians have performed their jobs amaz- ingly wellg let's do our job and appreciate them for it!

The members of this class meet twice a week for lectures and movies on the fundamentals of driving, and twice a week for actual prac- tice in the driver-training car to develop safe road hab- its. Although driving seems comparatively easy, modern cars and. equipment have made it very complex, These intricacies are dis- cussed and cleared up during Mr. Harris's lecture periods. Even though developing driving skills is very .im- portant, the chief purpose of the driver- training course is to promote safe driving attitudes.
