Secretaries The secretarial staff at Central is kept busy during the school year answering telephones, operating the inter-communication system, printing bulletins, handling correspondence, Ur- dering supplies, running the bookroom, and doing clerical work. Mrs. Edna Mcllavitt, Mrs. Marjorie Hebbard, and Mrs. Jennie Her- rick work in the main office. Mrs. Rose Vv'il- cox and Mrs. Mary Brown manage the at- tendance office, Miss Margaret Linehan and Mrs. Florence Houpis are secretaries for Mr. Powers and Miss Taylor, sophomore and jun- ior counselors, and Mr. Marean, senior coun- selor, respectively. Both chemistry and physics classes are well-liked, be- ing highlighted by laboratory periods where many interesting experiments are conducted. For a science major, ninth grade biology is also required.
