Many enjoyable moments have been spent, wasting study hall time, watching the construction of the new gym. Strange odors have permeated the hallways and classrooms. Upon inspection the source of the scents was found to be plaster and other building materials. A source of delight to Central students will be the swimming pool. Formerly, Central students, who were interested in swimming, have been forced to go to West Junior to participate in this sport. Mr. Hartung, the swimming director, looks forward to a more convenient place of practice for the Bullfish. In the past Central football players have been at a disadvantage because of lack of a suitable practice field. A new practice field will be provided along with the gym. This makes for a cheery future for Central football fans. With all these great new advantages, Central cheerleaders and students will really have something to be peppy about. .
