PAYSON HAMMOND A town that boasts inhabltants like me has no lack of good society. Debating Club C2-3-43, Life Club C3-43, Varsity Foot- ball C43. Popularity has bestowed a great portion of her favor upon this curly-headed young man. And, indeed, why, shouldn't she do so? Nowhere in the class of '20 can one find a more agreeable, optimistic, jolly graduate than Payson. Nor will we forget soon his splendid work on the varsity football squad. If he studied Latin, w'e'd say Pax vobiscumf' But since we think that he doesn't, w'e'll just wish him good luck, and he'll do the rest. If one may judge from her lengthy list of honors, Ce has been an important addition to the school. In fact that list is far larger than Ce herself. A strang- er would never suspect that her small, wiry self con- tains such liveliness and spirit, vocal powers included. Ce believes in doing things thoroughly. At basket- ball she plays with furious zest. As for her dramatic talents-how we all laughed at her amusing role in The Prince Chap. Next fall, Cecilia will go to Savage Physical Training School where she will continue the good work begun here.
