Hall of Fame Jennifer Marie Hegler Skeet Kiser Kelli Kriss Honor Society President Jennifer Marie Hegler is a tour-year special honor student. She is involved in many organizations including the Mayor s Youth Council, Quill and Scroll, Interact, the Law club, and the Back Bay Gang. She is a four-year member and treasurer of the Bonnie Deb Club, a three-year member and captain of the championship Mock Trial team, and a four year member of the Methodist Youth Foundation. Marie was elected Most Likely to Succeed girl her senior year, Most Studious her freshman year, student council vice-president in ninth grade, and is currently listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. In past years, Marie was vice-president of the History Club, editor of the Nichols newspaper, Teepee Talk, and a member of the Key Club. Marie is a national merit finalist, copy editor of the Indian Echo yearbook, and has been awarded numerous distinctions. These include the Biloxian's Award in English, Biloxian s Award in math, a Physics award, an algebra III award, and the German Award. In addition, Marie was Biloxi's Century III nominee, the NCTE writing nominee, and attended the Mississippi Governor's School. Skeet Kiser, who was voted Most Likely to Succeed, is a four-year honor student. Skeet is historian of the Honor Society, a member of the Interact Club, a member of Quill and Scroll, and is listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Students. During his junior year, Skeet was a member of the Junior Classical League, a representative at Boys' State, an NCTE nominee for the writing award, and chosen Most Valuable Player of the sixteen year state Babe Ruth baseball tournament. At Nichols Junior High School, Skeet was honored with the Principal's Award for the highest average for three years of attendance, and the award for outstanding ninth grade student. In addition to his accomplishments during his freshman year, Skeet received the DAR citizenship award, was voted Most Studious, attended the state band clinic, and was given the Academic Athletic award. While continuing his academic success, Skeet has participated in baseball since his sophomore year, and was on varsity in eleventh and twelfth grades. He was also on the basketball team during his ninth and tenth grade years. Drum Major Kelli Kriss is a four-year member of the band who has received two superior ratings, both at the Gulf Coast and Picayune Marching Festivals. She was also elected to attend Gulf Coast Band Director's Clinic. Kelli is an honor student who is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students, and is listed in the United States Achievement Academy Yearbook. Kelli is Vice president of the Honor Society, and was elected “Most Talented in this year's Who's Who elections. She is a member of the Key Club, Quill and Scroll, and has participated in varsity softball since her sophomore year. Hall of Fame 19

Hall of Fame is the highest honor for which any Biloxi High student may be chosen. Each student in this elite group has been nominated and elected by the faculty from a spread of over ninety students. Their votes were based on considerations of leadership, academics, athletics, and school services. Hall of Fame Allen Bodron Nga Do Honor student Allen Bodron is a three-year member of the Interact Club, two-year member of the Junior Classical League, member of Beta Sigma Chi, and a member of Quill and Scroll. Being a member of the National Honor Society, Allen has received honors such as the Mayor's Award for social studies, the Mississippi History award, and the Math Achievement award. Allen is currently a member of the Indian Echo yearbook staff, and is listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Students. In addition, Allen is a member of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship. He received letters in football during his freshman and sophomore years, and was chosen as a delegate to Boys’ State. The studious Nga Do was elected Most Intellectual girl by the student body this year. She is a member of the National Honor Society and of the Spanish National Honor Society. Nga is a two-year member of the Junior Classical League and of the Ameriasian Culture Club. Most importantly, Nga has maintained a status as special honor roll student throughout high school. Joe Gazzo, who was elected Mr. BHS this year, has been a member of the football team throughout high school, and was chosen football captain his senior year. He received the Elliott St. Amant trophy and honorable mention for the division seven team. He has also been involved in track and baseball. Joe was elected favorite his junior year, treasurer of the senior class, and was a representative at Boys’ State. In addition, Joe is a Junior Miss sponsor, a three-year member of the Interact Club, and of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. 18 Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame Joel Levi Giselle Marsh Stacey McGuire Indian Echo yearbook editor Joel Levi was elected Most Intellectual in this year's Who's Who elections. A four-year member of the annual staff, he served as assistant editor his freshman year. Joel is secretary of the honor society, and serves as vice-president of Mu Alpha Theta. He was a member of the French Club during his junior year, and is currently a member of Quill and Scroll, and of the Law Club. Joel is a member of the Mock Trial Team, and received the second place award for best attorney in the state at state competition. He is an active member of the Gulf Coast chapter of Children's International Summer Villages, and participated in a month-long interchange to France. Joel attended Governor's School and was runner- up for the Century III scholarship competition. In his freshman year Joel, a highest honor student, was elected “Most Likely to Succeed. In addition, he has received the Algebra III award, the Computer Programming award, the French II award, the Journalism award, and was listed as one of the Top Ten in Physics. Special Honor student Giselle Marsh is a two- year member of AFJROTC. She is a member of the Kittyhawk Air Society and the Drill Team within the program. Giselle has been chosen a Keesler Pace Setter, Cadet of the Year in JROTC, and was given the national Daedalian Award. In addition, she was awarded the Commandant's AFJROTC four- year engineering scholarship. Giselle is a member of Mu Alpha Theta and Quill and Scroll, and participated in volleyball and soccer in her freshman year. Stacey McGuire, selected Miss BHS, is currently serving as student body president, having been on the Student Council for four years. She holds the position of Assistant Editor of the Indian Echo yearbook, and has been on the staff for four years. Stacey was voted Junior Class Favorite, Homecoming Maid, and is listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students. For her work on Student Council, Stacey was chosen outstanding Student Council member three years in a row, and has been a delegate to the SASC and MSASC conventions. At Fernwood Junior High School, Stacey was the Spring Dance Queen, Miss Fernwood Junior High, was elected to the Hall of Fame, and received the DAR Good Citizenship Medal. She was also chosen as a delegate to Girls' State and was a member of the Key Club in her Sophomore year. Stacey is a three-year member of the Mayor's Youth Council, and an Interact member. 20 • Hall of Fame
