Seniors Chris Barnes and Sharon Bentz were elected Mr. and Miss BUS for the 1982 school year. Chris, a consistent letter- man, has played football for the past four years. Named “Most Outstanding Defen- sive Linesman in the 1981 Shrimp Bowl, Chris is a member of the B-Club, the Key Club, and DECA. He is an honor roll stu- dent and was voted “Class Favorite in his freshman year. Sharon Bentz reigns as Homecoming Queen, Biloxi’s Junior Miss, and the 1981 Camellia Queen. She has been a Student Council representative for four years and a member of the concert, symphonic and marching bands, currently serving as head majorette. An honor roll student, as well as being a member of the National Honor Society, Sharon was named “Miss FJH as a freshman and “Class Favorite in her junior year. She is an active member in many clubs, including the Gayfcrs’ Teen Board and the annual staff. Sharon was chosen to the Hall of Fame for 1982. MR. and MISS BHS Chris Barnes Sharon Bentz 28
