Clockwise-The Bellamy Steering Committee exchanges Ideas and comments. Omdahl, chamber of commerce; principal A. R. Collins Jr., program coordinator; and Mr. Lloyd Mickelson, publicity coordinator. Billings Senior High, 1976 Bellamy Awards winner. Mr. A.R. Collins Jr. and Mr. Charles Nesblt unpack and examine the various flags that were sent to senior from each of the other thirty-five Bellamy states for the award presentation in October 1976. Ms. Jean Honer and Ms. Edith Hamden read a congratulatory letter from the FVesident of the United States. Ms. Honer and Ms. Hamden are retired teachers who have returned to serve as secretaries for the Bellamy committee. Wayne Gordon, member of the Class of 1977 and Mr. Nesbit present a sculptured Bronc to Huntsville High School in Alabama, the 1975 recipient of the Bellamy Award. The Bronc was created by Mr. Leo Olson, BSH art teacher. The Billings Chamber of Commerce sponsored a two page congratulatory spread in The BILLINGS GAZETTE after the announcement that Senior High was to receive the Bellamy Award.
