Top Left-Gerard Poore and Brian Bartz sweep from one end of the parking lot to the other. Beware of the day-after blisters. Above- How disgusting! Mike Litwin moves the garbage of others into many piles, later to be collected altogether. Above Right-Lynne Hucke, Gail Mork, and Nancy Brown get a good view of the many great helpers that made Spirit Day '75 such a success. Student Council initiated a program that may help the school's litter problem, at least temporarily. About 100 conscientious students showed up on Saturday, October 18, to pitch in and clean up the entire school grounds. A thanks is in order to all who participated in the first Spirit Day. Top Right-A crew of Senior Highers attack the parking lot with brooms, bags, and a willingness to work. 25

Initial “Spirit Day ’75 ” a Success Top Right-All kinds of expressions are given while participants devour forty dozen donuts. Carol Dimich just can't understand why she's not feeling well. I only had four bottles of Pepsi and seven donuts! Left-Volunteer sweepers contribute their energy to a great cause. Below-Tim Wiesner lifts his drink to salute a clean school and a well- deserved snack. Bottom Right-Wayne Gordon chooses a shaky tree to relax under, after two hours of school work. 24

Left-Ann LeBar-just a little country girl! Below-As everyone gets ready for the sack relays, Ann LeBar takes time out to say the Pledge of Allegiance. From the Left are Mickey Gordon, Ann LeBar, Alfred Schultz, Hank Hartman, and John Schultis. Incidentally, Hank's team won the race. Center Right- See, I can do it, too! Rob Von Hess claps and kicks high to a cheer at the Spirit Day pep rally. Bottom-Hey, Mike (Litwin), you're out of line!
