ABOVE: The majorette leaders, Marcia McIntosh, Mary Wempner, and Lugene Van Sickle. The majorettes were very busy this year. They practiced from 7:30 to 9:00 almost every morning and again after school on Thursdays to entertain at halftimes during football and basketball games g they sold stationeryg they ran concession stands at track meetsg and they had a spring fashion show in order to earn money to help pay for their uniforms and accessories. Together with their sponsor, Mrs. Kris Barker, and their managers, Kim johnson and Carol Hucke, the majorettes have tried to im- prove their many performances by adding a little more fun and novelty. 2357, ' 5 if-' The corps worked hard this year to put on better halftimes for the 72-73 school year. During the football season, the girls Worked with Mr. Ferguson and the march- ing band. Basketball halftime routines had many different approaches. Props were added to give the routines some flair.
