And Sundry 1 Thingsw The 1972 A. F.S. Follies were really something special to everyone who participated in them, worked on them, or attended them. K The annual event, which is sponsored by Z club, was presented on Novem- ber l4 and l5, with the main purpose being to raise money for the AFS program at Senior. The follies included such acts as the overture by the Stage Band called the Eat Man Boogie, Happy Days are Here Again, by the Hi-Steppers, and the theme song And Sundry Things by the Soft Shoes. Tim and Bruce Cranston also entertained the audience with their rendition of Music, and a skit called Last of the Red Hot Lovers was presented by Lisa Hayes and Nick Olcott. Also, the Junior Majorettes danced to the song Apple on a Stick. On a more nostalgic note, Doug McShane sang Darling, Be Home Soon, while accompanying himself on the piano. The Stage Band again delighted the audience by playing Cherry Point a very Whimsical tune. The Senior Major- ettes also enticed the crowd by dancing to Tea for Two. One of the funnier acts of the program was an excellent impression of Laugh-ln's Edith Ann, by Chrystie Smith. Mimi Berger, captivated the audience by singing I don't Know How to Love Him. Cathy Hansen, in her unique and beautiful way, sang Some Kind of Wonderful. One of the most exciting acts was a 50's Rock Revival by a Rock Group comprised of Doug Erekson, Doug NicShane, Rick Davidson, and Bob Packwood, who rocked the auditorium with a series of songs like Blue Suede Shoes. The Trepp Family Singers sang a medley of songs including Crescent Moon, They Call the Wind Maria, and O Happy Day, with Lashelle Terry as solo- ist. The program was brought to a close with the entire cast singing Happy Days are Here Again. IO TOP LEFT: Lisa Hayes and Nick Olcott. LEFT: The Trepp Family Singers
