Mr. Gary Rogers--Counseling; University of Montana; B.A., M.E. Mr. Robert Thorson—Counseling; St. Olaf College, Eastern Montana College; Student Council, Student Executive Board; B.A., M.S. Mrs. Sue Hutton, girls advisor, and Mr. John Kosich, boys advisor, are responsible for ap- proving tardy slips and unexcused absences, and for handling all attendance. They also handle problems concerning the students' conduct. Because of their interest in the students' problems, Mr. Kosich and Mrs. Hutton often give personal counseling. The four counselors from Senior High lend a helping hand by planning vocational training for the students and by helping them prepare for college. ADMINISTRATORS LEAD SENIOR HIGH Mr. Charles E. Borberghas been principal of B.H.S. since 1952. A graduate of Senior High, he earned his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Michigan. Before Becoming principal, Mr. Borberg taught chemistry at Senior High. He is active in the educational associations, in A.F.S., and in the Masons. Besides handling files and typing P.A. announcements in the office, Mrs. Mitzner, Mr. Borberg’s secretary, makes Mr. Borberg's appointments and handles his correspondence. This is Mrs. Mitzner!s first year at B.H.S. Mrs. Dreyer, secretary for Mr. Collins Mrs. Mitzner, secretary for Mr. Borberg Mr. Earl C. Collins has been vice- principal of Senior High for seven years. He was a physics teacher and dean of boys before becoming vice-principal. Mr. Collins earned his B.A. and M.A. at the University of Wyoming, and also attended Eastern Montana College, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Utah. Mr. Collins is active in the Kiwanis Club and in the ed- ucational associations. Mrs. Dreyer is secretary for Mr. Collins. Along with checking attendance, filing student cards, and making appointments, she manages the office girls.

STUDENTS STUDY CYCLES OF HISTORY Mr. Robert Aagard- -A m e r ic an History; University of Wyoming, Eastern Montana College; Intramurals, Billings Key Club; B.S. Mr. Henry Cox—P.A.D., Economics; Youngstown University, Kent State University, University of Wyoming, Eastern Montana College; Colt Football; B.S. World history, an elective, is offered to sophomores only. In this course, students study the major historical events of different countries, and their political and economic status with the rest of the world. American history, required of all juniors, reviews the basic United States history studied in previous years. It outlines the events leading up to the writing of the Constitution, and the causes and effects of the events important to the history of our country. P.AJD. is a senior requirement. It includes comparative religions, international relations, and the political and social structure of the United States government. Twentieth century world history is offered to seniors interested in political science and humanities. Russian history is also available to seniors for the first time at B.H.S.
