Students gather around to watch as YKC won the water fight in Pioneer Pork. Student Activities Are Varied Adeie Nielsen upholds the theory that a wad of bubble gum always helps concen- tration. Still more students sit on the wall oround the tennis courts to watch the fight. An after-game dance is always a good place to observe the latest dance fads. Casually-dressed girls attend one of the many sport events after school. 9

Couples dance ond char among vori-eolored streamers at the Christmas Formal. Kinetic Sponsors “Santa’s Workshop Sherri Cox, Bill Lowe, Gary Everson, Janet Hudgens. Kris Nybo, and Dale Harris pause to comment on the dance. December II, B.H.S.'s gym was transformed into a toy fac- tory complete with elves, toys, reindeer, and even Santa Claus for the Christmas Formal. Kinetic, the sponsor of the dance, hired Noel Collin's band for music. Entering through crossed peppermint sticks, the couples were greeted by Juanita Fisher, Santa's Helper, and given a dance program plus a net stock- ing full of candy. Punch from a foaming bowl and assorted cookies were served by three freshmen from Lincoln, Jill Hoff- man, Becky Mackin, and Marian Meyer. Those responsible for making the dance such a success were Nancy Thompson, ad- vertising; Bonna Graham, decorations; Pat Hein, programs; and Ann Veraldi, refreshments.
