Drop into the office any time and you will find Ezer pleasant and Yelpful. Hmm ' 2.4 ' Qnmomacq Room Representatives is an organization of two students from each second period class. These students meet with the administrators of the school tc talk over items of particular in- terest to pupils and give ideas and opinions of the matter being discussed. One of the big problems brought up this year was the matter of sending a delegation of stu- dents to Great Falls to try to clear up bad feel- ing between the two schools. Another iob always undertaken by represen- tatives is the job of selling theater student courtesy cards to the student body. The Representatives are always willing to give their help and time for something to benefit the school. This organization shows a true democratic spirit because it gives the students a voice in the handling of school affairs. Mr. lesse G. Ragsdale is the adviser of the organization and this seems to bring a closer relationship between faculty and students and show sides of each. FIRST ROW CLeft to Rightb-B. McKenzie. D. Vladic. P. Class Officers Bob Smith, president: Barbara Pollard, secretaryg and Ernest Alevizakes, vice president, were elected by the senior class early this fall. As officers their main duty for the year was to select class announcements and bring them before the class for final de- cision. These students are officers that we can be proud to have represent our class. Bob Smith played football. Miss Pollard was our art editor. Ernest Alevizakes is presi- dent of Dragon club and is a member of PTC club. 'lrypuvwjwltrpgougeefv Twelve long years are at last behind us and we the class of nineteen hundred and fifty are about to step from our carefree student life into the world before us. Every student has a different plan to follow but each is important to the individual. Some will go on with their educations in institutions of higher learning, others will take jobs in the community and still others may marry and strive to become useful citizens. It seems but a short while since we first en- tered the halls of BHS and yet we hate to leave because we have a sense of belonging, a sense of being at home. Billings high will always have a place in its heart for us but our place will be filled by other young hearts and minds who wish to enjoy their teens and the good times that go with high school studies. When we leave we have many things we may take with us, true, mostly they are mem- ories, but then memories are lasting and good. There were formals, assemblies, football and basketball games. These are things we will treasure when school life seems far back in the past. Memories are not the only things which will be carried with us, for we have gained knowledge and friendships that will always stand out in our memory. We have learned to live with and get along with people which will help us in our daily lives as we go forward. Page Sixteen Soon we will be the leaders and it will be our task to make the decisions. We must rea- lize this gigantic duty and be prepared to meet it wisely. Our school has done its best to help us acquire the knowledge we need but it is our duty to apply this knowledge and make our country a better one because of us. Seniors have done many things to be proud of, plays, sports, publications and other school activities have helped each one grow in some respect and will be something to be remem- bered not only as fun but also as something that has been of help to each in later years and careers chosen. Success is what we all strive for in some re- spect. The most profound meaning of success is good done for others. lf, in our lives we make this our purpose, our lives will seem worth while in that we have contributed something. Seniors, let us then step forward and look back on BHS and remember it as a good thing in our lives. Let us also look forward and see what we can do to better our corner of the world. Not only should we look ahead but we should take a step ahead and start on the path- way of life toward whatever goal we have set for ourselves. Let us forever keep in mind that this is our country, yours and mine, and we want to strive to make it the best for our chil- dren and all generations to follow.
