The traditional snake dance was the only way to begin Homecoming 1966. The fire that sparked the 33-0 win over the Livingston Rangers found its beginning at the bonfire following the snake dance. The blaze grew bigger at the Homecoming assembly when Francie Marble was crowned queen and called for a victory that would be heard around the world. I I Getting ready for a parade takes longer than the parade itself. Band members exhibit some of the confusion felt before the Homecoming parade. Pep Club and Key Club combined their efforts to create a float worthy of a queen. Key Club officers Bob Dris- coll, Jim Stokoe, Dave Oswald, and Vem Roberts drove the Queen's float.

A couple of natives (Africans?), Mike Lee and Tom Ford, POKE fun at Ron Matliem in the pot. This senior float took second. Is this an entry in the St. Patrick's Day parade? No, it is the sophomores' 'Luck of the Irish' contribution to the Home- coming parade. The float brought back fond memories to the newest arrivals to Central's staff, the Irish nuns. IN 80 DAYS The freshmen began bringing the 'Rams to the Heights' by the class unity it took to make this float. PAGE SPONSOR EMPIRE STEEL MANUFACTURING CO. 50 1 NORTH 18TH ST.
