There were many bright spots for the Indians who were captained by Joe Gualteri, Mike Moriconi, and Paul Frazier. Moriconi Q22-18-4Ol and Gual- teri C12-23-35l were selected to the MVC 1st team allstars, All-Conference team. Gualteri was voted most valu- able player of the year in the MVC while Frazier 112-22-34l, Steve Rob- erts and Dave DiNanno were selected to the large school allstar team. The team also beat perrenial powerhouse Austin Prep. in the season opener. In the allstar game, Billerica accounted for five of the six large school goals, Frazier netting three and Moriconi net- ting two. Roberts assisted of five re- spectively. The team will lose key players to graduation: Dan Kilday, Ed Burke, Jeff Beckwith, Darel Crandall, Bill Riley, and Hardworking Mike Kel- ly. On behalf of the team we would like to thank Coach Mark Jenkins, Tom Glavin, and Assistant Coach Mike Esposito.
