rv 4 2 PUQ I wish to extend to you, the class of 1969, my sincere congratula- tions upon your graduation from Memorial High School. You will never again have the opportunity to compete mentally and physically or to gather socially with your peers at the secondary school level. Some have employed the past four years well and have aptly demon- strated purpose and achievement in every facet of their total effort. There are also those who have not used these years to demonstrate the achievement of which they are capable. All of you, however, comprise the class of 1969 and all of you will assume new responsibilities, meet different challenges, and follow var- ied paths leading to selected goals common to your interests. It is my fervent hope that you acquire the attitude that you need for your per- sonal success, that you contribute positively toward the solution of the problems of society, and that you strive to gather and constantly im- prove an empathic awareness of your fellow men.
