The Class of 1966 wishes to extend to Mrs. Patri- cia Cain, adviser to both the Senior Class play and to the Cheerleaders, a most sincere “thank you” for her untiring efforts on our behalf. The Senior Class play, one of the highlights of our Senior year, is an enormous task. Laborious hours and patience are but two of the ingredients which have made not only our play but also our Cheerleaders highly successful and outstanding. Any person who has devoted as many years of her life to the teaching profession as has Miss E. Ruth Belcher must be called a “dedicated teacher.” She has shown a sincere interest in all her students and has devoted innumerable hours to preparing students for college. We deeply ap- preciate Miss Belcher’s assistance and wish her to accept our sincere “thank you.” 21

In Appreciation Billerica Memorial High School has been fortu- nate in having among its faculty “Chuck” Lamp- son. One of the best-known and most-respected teachers in our school, he, in his many years of teaching, has contributed to our class and to many others like us countless hours of service. For twenty-five years he has spent many long and tedious hours coaching our varsity football team. In this and in other smaller, but no less impor- tant, ways “Chuck” has exhibited his concern for the future of our class. In return, we, the Class of 1966, join former graduating classes in expressing our gratitude to him. We, the Class of 1966, thank our Principal, Mr. Chester D. Ingraham, for his devotion in leading us, guiding us, helping us, and inspiring us. He has neither refused to lend a “helping hand” nor refused to show interest in our problems and in our activities. We shall never forget his patient, untiring efforts.
