X Our Vice-Principal often has the unpleasant and rather frustrating task of maintaining disci- pline in our school. It is highly doubtful that any- one envies him this necessary task, although we all must envy him his striking good humor and equanimity. In view of his many services, we take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Mr. Nuttall. In Appreciation Who in this school does not immediately rec- ognize the voice of Mrs. Currie? There are few who have not on some occasion received her will- ing help. Whether announcing an upcoming event on the school calendar or just making life easier around the office, we feel that her value to the school is not always fully appreciated. We take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Mrs. Currie. In addition to her normal teaching duties, one teacher has devoted much of her time and effort to aiding this and other yearbook staffs in pre- senting successful publications. She has also helped to send many students from the business course on their way to successful careers. In rec- ognition of her years of fine service and gener- ously volunteered assistance, we take this oppor- tunity to express our appreciation to Miss Jahnle. 4

1 Our school is not merely a faculty, some students, and a few classrooms. It is something with that unique quality which sets it apart from any other institution of its kind; it is something with a personality. What creates this personality? It is a compound of many factors; but when one examines this more closely, he sees it influenced chiefly by one man. This person fills a job which brings him constantly in contact with students, teachers, and parents alike. In his position, he has suc- ceeded in infusing into the character of this school some measure of his own vital personality. He is not only an able administrator but also an inspiration to all who meet him. It is largely due to his efforts that we will owe the attainment of our future goals. We of the senior class extend our deepest gratitude and best wishes for the future to our Principal, Mr. Chester D. Ingraham. 5
