IV 1 So now we'll say MSO long but never Good-bye, and we'll face the SENIOR CLASS HISTORY 1958 - We, the class of 1962, took our H1'St step toward Seniordom in Septem- ber '58 as Frantic Freshmen. We displayed our talents participating in band, choir, sports, student council, plays, Honor Society, and other activi- ties. In this exciting year as a class we visited the Adams County Court House. Tom Hoffman was elected class president, and Mr. Allison was our class advisor. 1959 - The main activity of the Sociable Sophomores aside from homework was Ending ways to raise money for our Junior-Senior Prom. Under the able leadership of our president, Roger Crum, we sold candy at noon and at games, as well as booster pens and pennants during basketball season. . 1960 - As S'-jolly Juniors the highlight of our year was an enchanted evening in the South Pacificw which we presented for the Seniors. We also received our class rings of which we were very proud. Money-making projects in- cluded the sale of fruit cakes at Christmas and hot dogs and candy apples at football games. Once again we chose Roger Crum as our president With great excitement we finally reached our destination as 'iSwingin' Seniors? We boasted of 90 cases of Senior-itis,i' the most seriously affected being our class president, Gary Beatty. We sold candy, jackets, cokes, coffee, pretzels, and sponsored dances in order to earn our long-awaited trip to New York. Soon the Senior Trip and Commencement will be a thing of the past, but these wonderful years will never end. The memories of friends, our whirl of books and activities, and our hilarious antics will live as long as we do. We, the class of '62, wish to express our gratitude and appreciation to all those who have made our years at B. H. S. so successful and enjoyable. To the classes of the future, we wish all the success and happiness which we have known at our Alma Mater. 961 - future prepared and confident. Motto: Forward Ever Backward Never Colors: Crimson and Silver Advisor: Richard Allison Flower: Silver Rose Page 27 59 60 61 62
