It was the annual junior-Senior Prom - the theme of which was Moonlight and Roses. The decoration was simple but very effective. The sky of blue spangled with silver Stars, the immense yellow moon, the fountain complete with goldfish flivej and white lawn furniture against a stone wall completed the soothing effect. The music was furnished by Bud Codori and his ensemble. Pictures of those who wished them were taken on a log bridge under which ran a winding blue stream. An enjoyable time was had by everyone. All in all, the prom was a huge success and the juniors, seniors, and faculty mem- bers went to sleep with beautiful memories of a wonderful evening. Of course not, replied his sister. They're not needed there. The pupils had all been photographed and the teacher was trying to persuade them each to buy a copy of the group picture. just think how nice it will be to look at it when you are grown up and say, 'there's Rose, she's married,' or 'that's Billy, he's a sailor'. Their husbands make me nervous. The head nurse at the hospital entered a room and found one of the new nurses holding both wrists of a recently admitted patient. X Page forty-four dl ij Advisor We the class of 59 wish to express deep appreciatin to Mr. Whiite for his able guidance and assistance. Thanks also go to Mr. Myers who aided us during our years in eighth through eleventh grades. Page forty-three Senior Class History 1955 - 56 We entered dear old B. H. S. in September SS happy and excited. This was our first big step toward Seniordom. We actively participated in Band, sports, Honor Society, plays and other activities. Nevertheless, time was found to visit the County Courthouse and the State Capitol. Our president was Mary Lou Finfrock and our advisor Edward Myers. 1956 - 57 We returned in S6 with David Dull as our president. Activities were never shirked nor were such money-making projects as selling candy at noontime and at games. The profits were, of course, for our Prom, Yearbook and senior trip. 1957 - 58 Hurrah! We were now jolly juniors or, as we said, almost seniors. Class rings were received in the fall and proudly displayed to all. Projects that year in- cluded selling pennants and hats, hot dogs, and pretzels. The highlight of the year was the junior-Senior Prom, of which we were justly proud. 1958 - 59 Seniors at last, but we couldn't help pinching ourselves. Our two goals, aside from graduating, were publishing the Mirror and raising funds for our Senior trip. In order to raise money we sold candy, cokes, do-nuts, jackets and held a Buddy Deane Hop. Our able president was Robert Nyce and our advisor Mr. White. With spring came our trip to New York and, of course, commencement. So long, B.H.Sg with you we leave many fond memories and wonderful friendships. Page forty-two Margaret Irene Wentz Margie Academic You're cracked, too! Band 10, 11, Sec.-Treas. 125 F. T.
