JULIA ll. BLOCI-IEII Julie Bl-:x1m1':1:svi1.1.1a, l'A. 1 -:worry not, for 'u:hu-t's the usa! Girls' Chorus, 1, 2, 3, 45 School Play, 2, Operetta, 29 Class Play, 4, Track, 3. A petite rosy-cheekefl maiden who is an ornament to 1924 appears above. Julia has never yet appeared when she is not neatly and properly gownecl, with every bohbed hair in place. She always maintains a lively interest in everything going on in Benclersville and Biglerville, giving at great deal of time to quiet speculation of the qualities of the masculine of the species. A truly remarkable girl and just as lovable as remarkable. RAYMOND F. OYLER Il:'1zo1- RIlil.EliVll.'l.l'I, PA. ll horn Icmlcr among men. School Play, l, 2, 3: Student Council, 3: Class President, 1, 4g Class Play, 43 Track Team, 3: Captain, 4: Soccer, 3. 4: Captain, 4: Basket ball, 2. 3: Captain, 4: Baseball, 1, 2, 31 Mandolin Cluh, 35 Radio Club, 3: Boys' Chorus, 1, 2, 3,49 Operetta, 2,33 Debating Team, 2. 3: Riley, 3, 45 Popularity Contest YVinner, 4. This young fellow's activities take up so much room that there. is little space to tell about him. He is equal to any situation and gets away with more stuff than all the rest of the class put together. A born athlete, handsome as .Apollo and of even temper, Razor is there with the goods, and has never yet had a 'bumll' OU hilT1Se1f- If he keeps up the good work, we know that he will succeed in any line he undertakes. RUTH L. LINAH Boots H1f:111r.1:1:s1sL'1xo, PA. 'illcwzfs best possession a sympcltluftio -zuifd. Basket ball, 2: Track, 1, 2, 3g Volley Ball, 3: Class Play, 4, Girls' Chorus, 1, 2, 3, 4: Irving, 1, 2: Riley, 3, 4. Down in Heidlersburg, Ruth is the belle of the town and here at Biglerville she has also cast her charms over the unsuspecting youth. A quiet lassie, with a. temper all her own, she has ploddefl faithfully along. She aspires to a Dedagoguefs desk but unless she mends her ways, We believe she will be in the toils of domesticity shortly. Ruth is an athlete of no mean worth as was shown by her excellent performances on the track team. V131

Here is Hilda.. lVe clon't know what there about her, but when she looks at you, Oh Boy! your heart goes pitty'-pat and does a couple of handsprings. lVhen the teach- ers assigned lessons, fshe looked as if a personal insult had been offered but somehow or other she got her work done and stuck with us all the time. She enjoys the sound of S1aybells winter or summer. Ylfhat her fate will be, we can only surmise, hut we know that sometime she will live happily ever after. CLAUDE W. Mll.'I.I'lIi Doc Biu1.1c1:vlLLE, PA, But for my part ii' was Graf.-l.' to imc. Student Counutl, 1, 43 School Play, 1, 2, 33 Class President, 33 Operetta, 25 Class Play, 4, Soccer, 45 Mgr. Basket hall, 4: Vlfhittier, 3, 4. Doc is our class jester. His easy ways and everlasting good humor has smoothed over many rough spots of our way. His motto is, a dash of 'pep' will cure anything from a sore head to a broken heart. He can make our spirits soar even as he makes Omrny sore. He is heart whole and fancy free but rumor has it that he is preparing to cast his anchor of ronumce in certain Biglerville harbors. Doc is sensitive on only one point, his plumpness, but all we can say is that it he continues to laugh, he will surely grow thin. I.. THELMA Sl.AYHAI'Hl'l Bets Bml.lcl:i'1l.I.E, PA. Rets is original, hair and all. She is high geared and certainly out a big' swath in girls' athletics in B. I-I. S. For three years she captained the girls' basket ball team and the track teams. Wlien anything which required physical pep was needed, Thelma was called upon to put it across. Likatble always and lorvjable sometimes, she has always been a favorite among the opposite sex. She takesi great pride in automobiles, espe- cially those of a color similar to her hair. Rets is undecided as to whether to become a nurse or simply make some man happy. llfhatever the decision, she'l1 make good. F171

Here is a. girl who has been unusually successful in her every unrl0r-taking. Verl satile beyond belief, Eva is equally at home concocting delicious pastries or entertaining from the concert stage. She has set her mind on serious problems of life and is already lining-er prosper-ts: up with a view to matrimony. Good luck, Eva. ' G1-IUIUJIG l+'. Out of the woods, four years ago, came Geo'rgily as green as they make 'em. How four years of polishing has brought luster to this diamond in the rough can be seen by a glance at the above picture. He is athletically inclined and has starred at soccer and basket ball. He is just beginning to feel an interest in the more talkative sex, our old reliable Et Blgham being his First crush. George aspires to manage a bhain of stores and we will see him ont-'Woolworthingn Kvoolworth in the next few years. JEMIMA S. You ca.n't judge a b-ook by its cover, nor can you judge a woman by her looks. Jemima has views on :ill subjects except men. and they are simply out of the question. Judging' by the enormous quantity of books she carries to and from school, she is very efficient in herscholastic work. She leans toward the scientific and we expert her to make rm name for herself and invirlentally B. H. S., in medicine. T191
