l ESTHER G. BIGHAM Et TIIGLI-IllVll.l.l-I, I,'.x. They say inirfu-Irs are past. ' G-irls' Chorus, 1, 2, 3, 4: Volley Ball, 3: Track, 3: School Pianist, 2, 3, 4: Basket- ball, 3. 4: Class Treasurer, 2: Class Secretary, 3: Class Play, 4: Operetta, 3, 4, Music is the strong point of this young' lady and it. is one of the contributing fac- tors of her popularity, Her tastes also run to orchestras. Her seriousness is almost laughable at times but .a true heart beats under all. Like the Ray o' light which often crosses her path, she is always bright and cheerful. Esther has more school spirit packed in her heart than three ordinary mortals and could always be relied upon to do her share in every undertakinsi. If she works as hard for herself as she did for B. H. S. her success is assured. CLIFFORD H. BUCHER Cliff T3lGl.l'Il!VlLl.E, PA. HP -is .u Z-little cliiinmey, mul heated hot in a 'ui-uni-r-nf. Vice President Class. Z: Stock Judging Team, 2: Capt., 3, 4: Basketball, 3, 43 Soc- cer, 3, 4: Class Play, 4: Mandolin Club, 3: Boys' Chorus, 4: Bus. Mgr. Mirror, 4: Class Treasurer, 4: Whittier, 3, 4. This ambitious specimen of young manhood is verily an example of the sterling quality of 1924. Loyal to himself, his class and his school, Clifford always assumed his share of the tasks before us. As an athlete he blossomed forth in the last two years and proved his worth. Openly he professed abhorrence of the fair sex, but secretly he was often found in their vonipany--especially out along the Lincoln Highway. KA'l'HLEl+lN lil. 'Rl.0Pl-IER Katia Hl9NlN'3liSVlLl1Ei VA- 'l'his in-'iss is as yonrl ns hm' smile. Girls' Chorus, 1, 2, 3, 4: Class Play, 4: Volley Ball. 33 Operetta, 2, 3: Secretary Class, 4. This bobbed haired bit of femininity is one of the most independent creatures which ever graced B. H. S. Nothing Worries her and nothing upsets her remarkable equilib- rium. She has reduced library loafing to a science and Miss Mac alone refuses to let her remain undisturbed in her wilful way. Kathleen is some fine little dancer and loves to trip the light fantastic. ll-ll

Bernetla is easy to look at :ind as suoh. is naturally a 1-enter of attraction. How- ever, she is really very modest and is efficient, especially in her commercial work. She has ambitions to be a stenog and studiously reads the comic papers to see how .the real ones act. Anrl yet inrlie-ations point to the favt that she might even become a tailor for she has vamped several members of that family. But time will tell and until then we can only wish Bernie good luck. BRUCE L. HURTXEIR 'iBrucie Asl-1-ms, l',x., R. D. His .smile is .wrr1'r'tmwcl by his gru'ri1y. Vice President Class, 3: Mandolin Club, 3: Radio Club, 3: Soccer, 3, 43 Senior Play, 4: XVhittier, 35 Riley, 4. Bruce wears a smile that is as permanent as the color of his hair. He is a mod- est. retiring sort of a chap, always the same every time you meet him. To look at him, you would hardly suspect he was athletically inclined but for two years he booted full back on the soccer team. I-Ie is some business shark and in the future' we hope to hear Of him as a captain of industry, ' 'KATHRYNNE V. Fllllililll K:1l'm-2 l5lGl.l'IllVll,T.lC. PA. 'Sl temper ull hw' own. Basket Hall, 2, 3. 4: Girls' Chorus. 1: Mamlolin Club, 3: Class Play, lg Track, 2, 3: Riley, 3, 4, A happy-go-lucky miss of uncertain Fictions is Kate. No one win say just what she will do next and her frankness has always been a thing' to marvel ut. Loud in her denunciation of men, nevertheless she has a keen eye for the handsome faves and after every .social affair raves over him. Her elongated physique enabled her to star at basket ball and on the relay team she was u necessity. I JA I F151
