Jllrwhman Qllaum Quainrg And lo It d1dSt come to pass upon the Hfth day of the month of Septem ber ln the year n1neteen hundred and twenty one and 1n the second year of the relgn of Conrad the Irrltable One that a great horde descended upon the sacred preclncts of Blglervllle And th1s mass was great In fact It was so great that lt dldst out number the rest of the school And they called this motley crowd The Freshmen Gathered from the hlghways and byways thirty and nlne neophytes d1d gather at the fount of knowledge to lmblbe the nectar dlspensed by her royal hlghness Mac the E clent and her co worker Dearle the Dellghtful Yea the others 1n the1r self concelt called us green And lt came to pass that the relgrung one w1th h1s counclllors came together and took councll wlth one another saylng It must be done so that the sapllngs shall know thelr place and that we shall know them And upon the harvest leaves was It wrltten that we should come together for a great feastlng, w1th dance and song And behold It was not Wlth song and dance and feastmg but wlth the mlqultxous paddle and Wlfed chalr that we d1d make our debut into the all dldst do much to assuage our lnjured feellngs and to allay the ever present and odorlferous Llmburger and render the raw oyster agaln what lt was lntended to be the maklngs of soup And now havlng become as one of them the Freshmen dldst begln to do thrngs Upon the flfth day of November was a carmval held And lt fell to the lot of 1925 to satisfy the sweet tooth of an unruly mob And th1s the Freshmen d1d well And behold the carmval waxed successful and the Freshmen dldst do thclr share And ln th1s country was an organlzatlon And th1s organlzatlon was called the Jumor Red Cross The Mlghty One dldst appeal to the assembled for support of th1s organlzatlon And the Freshmen supported lt Yea they d1d contrlbute more than all the rest of the school comblned L1kew1se d1dst the Class of 1925 answer the Seal Stamp Sale at the joy ous Chrxstmastlde And when the call for debaters d1d come lo and behold two members dldst volunteer and one member was chosen And he d1d w1n great laurels for hls school 1h sclass and hlmself In the strenuous game of basketball were we repreented and on the baseball team d1d we play And last but not least we waxed strong and proflclent ln our scholastlc endeavors And by the gentle are of persuas on and apphcatlon we became the leaders of Blglervllle Hlgh School for the scholastlc year of nlneteen hundred and twenty one and twenty two And none dare dxspute our clalm for we do admlt the veraclty and rectrtude of such clalm Thus endeth the chronlcles of the Freshmen F H P Q 3 .
