The seniors proved ThaT They sTill had The loudesT voice in The school by Taking The cup Tor The second consecuTive year. In November The gymnasium was The scene oT gayeTy as The resulT oT much hard work on The parT of The Senior class in giving a Senior Barn Dance which was The TirsT oT iTs kind ever given in The school. Bales oT hay, cornsTaIks, pumpkins, lanTerns and harness lenT aTmosphere To The occasion. Everyone, including The orchesTra, Turned ouT in overalls, prinT dresses, sTraw haTs and sunbonneTs. A prize was given Tor The besT walTzers and also Tor The besT cosTumes. On DramaTics NiTe The Senior class presenTod Rooms To LeT which was a one- acT comedy. This play uncovered much hidden TalenT in The Senior class and as a resulT They wer: awarded second prize Tor The b:sT play given ThaT niTe. The Annual ChrisTmas parTy which was given by The High and MighTies was a scene of TrivoliTy and gayeTy and Tull oT Ye old ChrisTmas SpiriT. DelighT l-lixon, gen- eral chairman, managed To geT old SanTa Claus To come in person and deliver his giTTs. On The sTage a cleverly decoraTed ChrisTmas Tree sTood, Trom which candy canes were disTribuTed among The sTudenTs by The Seniors. The aTTernoon was spenT in play- ing games and dancing. ln February The Seniors moTored To Oroville To aTTend The showing oT LiTTle Women. Before leaving The school a hoT dinner was served by girls oT The class in The home-making rcom. Early This spring The seniors enioyod a picnic aT Richardson's Springs as The resulT oT The winning oT a MeriT ConTesT held in The school. Francine, OT Richvale delivered his BaccalaureaTe message To The gradu- aTes, Sunday evening, June 3rd, an air oT solemniTy and guieT reigned in The gym. The Theme oT Rev. Francino's message was l-low To Win The gym was aTTracTively decoraTed by members of The Junior Class. On The morning oT May 2-4Th Tho Seniors leTT brighT and early Tor Lake Olympia on The Annual Sneak Day. Arriving aT The lake, breakTasT was prepared and eaTen by a gang oT hungry Seniors. The morning was spenT in swimming and boaTing.
