DEDICATION Although we, the class of '66, have had many excellent advisors over the past four years, one has earned a special place in our hearts. He guided us through many trying situations; and, more important, he taught us, by his example, the valuable lesson of determination and self-sacrifice. This example has continued to influence our decisions and often has brought us a pleasant memory. Perhaps he will be most remembered for his genuine interest in us, not only as a class, but as individuals. For him, none of our problems was too great, and none was too small. It is with pride that we, the seniors, dedicate our Le-Lac to Mr. Allan Benson, teacher, advisor and sincere friend. 2

SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Education, to me, means the training of bodies and minds into perfect exercise and kingly countenance. It is a painful, continual and difficult task to be done but it can be accomplished by kindness, by watching, by warning, by precept, and by praise, but above all— by example. It has been said that education is like a double edged sword. It can be turned to dangerous usages if it is not properly handled. The faculty joins me in the wish that each of you, in your years spent here at Bigfork High, has obtained the education which will create the desire to open new doors of learning for you.
