-V ' Junior Class As the school year 1956-57 began, we, the Junior Class, reached the year that promised so much. As time quickly sped by, we saw all our hopes and dreams brought to reality with the help of Miss Broadwater and Miss Read, our sponsors. When football season opened, many of our boys participated in foot- ball. These were: Wayne Coomer, Johnny Collins, Lee Kelly, Dicky Fogg, Jim Buchanan, Edmond Allman, Bill Cochran, and Lewis Williams (manager Many junior boys also played basketball and baseball. Our class was well represented in all of the school activities. The time finally arrived when we were to select our class rings. The decision was difficult, but we finally selected a ring we shall wear with pride. Soon after mid-term we found ourselves selling magazines to provide us with funds for the School Bell next year and for the Junior-Senior Prom. Preparation for the prom took many tiring hours of work. As we made the Daisy Chain and participated in graduation exercises, we realized that in the not too distant future we would be the seniors walking with sedate steps to our graduation.
