President J. D. BARRETT Vice President RUSSELL COOPER Secretary Treasurer FILMORE TUCKER Sponsors MR. DORTON, MR. STALLARD, and MR. MILLER CLASS OFFICERS Tucker, Barrett, Cooper FRESHMAN CLASS We, the freshman class, began our iourney through high school with high hopes and eager spirits. We have worked hard and our efforts have brought us success. Our sponsors, Coach Stallard, Mr. Miller, and Mr. Dorton, have helped us greatly and contributed much toward our success. We realized that taking part in the school activities would make our work in- teresting and our freshman days something to remember. Filmore Tucker and Carrie Lou Jeter were elected to the Safety Patrol, and we were represented in the Camera Club by Mary John Mayhew, and Filmore Tucker. We contributed thirteen members to the Glee Club, thirteen to the Band, and ten to the F.l-l.A. Club. With the approach of the football season, our interests were turned toward that sport. We were represented by Richard Belton, Bill Holding, Jr., Forrest McCoig, Martin Revilla, Filmore Tucker, Frank Pannell, Don Giles, and Cammy Edmonds who were ready and willing to do their duty as members of the football team. We feel we have made a good beginning and are looking forward to our next three years in high school. -
