'Ubin We Juniors spent a very happy year under the capable guidance and leader- ship of Miss Broadwater, our sponsor. This year will hold many happy memories for Us because it was crowded with many activities as well as the usual grind of study. ln October, after examining rings from two different representatives we made our choice, an oval ring with a blue or red set. This we will proudly wear as Seniors. Our class was well represented in sports. Philip Kinder, Johnny Bradburne, Bob Daughtery, Kin Graham, Gerald Taylor, Fred Statzer, and Kyle Cooper were on the football squad. Those who went out for basketball were: Harriet Holton, Faye Dick- enson, Martha Powers, Joan Sargent, Joyce Sargent, Kin Graham, Philip Kinder, Johnny Bradburne, and Gerald Taylor. The Key Club claimed three of our members. Several participated in the Camera Club, Glee Club, Varsity Club, Band, F.H.A., and Safety Patrol. Five of our members served on the Jolly Roger Stait. Barbara Mercer was elected as our reporter. ln April we entertained the Seniors at the Junior-Senior Prom which was well re- ceived and quite a successful event.
