'-'N A NT A -v '-, ...I BREWER BROADWATER DINGUS DORTON Miss Wilma Brewer, who has a B.S, from Lincoln Memor- ial College, is a Sophomore sponsor and teaches Math 8, Algebra, Physics, and Civics 8. Miss Sarah Broadwater, the Junior sponsor, teaches Algebra, Plane geometry, and History IQ, she has an AB. from Hollin's College. Miss Lora Dingus, who has an A.B. from Emory and IIIEIILW Henry College and who is sponsor of the Senior Class, Raman Club, and the School Bell, teaches Latin, Chemis- try, Algebra, and Plone and Solid Geometries. Mr. Cleo Pete Dorton, Freshman sponsor, attended East Tennessee State College where he received his B.S. degree. He teaches Introduction to Business, Typing, English 8, and Civics 8. Sponsoring the Glee and Camera Clubs, an Eight Grade class, and the Safety Patrol is Mr. Jack H, Gibbs who has a B.S. from the Appalachian State Teachers Col- lege and teaches History II, Biology, and Math 8. Mrs. Winston Giles having an A.B. from Radford College teaches English and Spanish ll. She is Librarian and sponsors the Jolly Roger, Los Conquistadores, and an Eight Grade group. Mrs. Kathleen K. Horne, who has an A.B. from William and Mary College, teaches Home Economics. She is in charge of the schooI's lunchroom and is sponsor of the F.H.A. One of the Sophomore sponsors, Miss Dorothy Meade, has an A.B. from Emory and Henry College ond teaches English 8, IO, and I2. Mr. J. C. Miller, who is Bays' Basketball Coach and Assistant Football Coach, has a B.S. from Milligan College and an M.A, from George Peabody College and teaches History 9 and Science 8. Mr. Ray G. Russell, who graduated from High Point Col- lege with an AB., is with us in the afternoons and teaches Civics 8 and History Il. Miss Billie Jean Scott, a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University with an A.B., teaches Eng- lish and Spanish I and sponsors the Los Conquistadars and an Eight Grade Class. Miss Beth Siphers with an B.S. from University ol Tennessee teachers Typing and Shorthand. Coaching Football and Girls' Basketball is Mr. Burchell Lowell Stallard who has a B.S. from Milligan College. He teaches Science and Physical Education and is sponsor of a Freshman class and the Varsity Club.
