Miss Wilma Brewer, Pennington Gap, has a B.S. from Lincoln Memorial University and teaches Algebra 9, IO, Math 8, Civics 8, and is Sophomore sponsor. Mrs. Johnnie Bristow, Big Stone Gap, teaches English 9, IO, 12, and is also sponsor ol some Junior and Sophomore girls. She has a B.S. from Tro State Teachers College. Miss Sarah Broadwater, Big Stone Gap, has an A.B. from Hollins College. She teaches Algebra 9, IO, Civics l2, and is sponsor of the Junior class. Miss Lora Dingus, Coeburn, received an A.B. from Emory and Henry teaches Algebra 9, Math ll, Latin I and ll, and Chemistry. She is sponsor of the Roman Club, School Bell Stall, and the Senior class. Miss Lois Gentry Floydfi Pound, with a B.S. from Radford College, taught Typing and Bookkeeping the first semester. Mr. Jack H, Gibbs, Appalachia, graduated from Appalachia State Teachers College with a B.S. and teaches Biology, History ll, and Math 8. He is sponsor ol the Safety Patrol, Camera Club, Eighth Grade, and Director of the Glee Club. Mrs. Winston E2 .LIL 'iv 'T' srARNEs Giles, Big Stone Gap, received her A.B. from Radford College and teaches English HF,-as WEISS Spanish I and Il, and is Librarian, and sponsor of the Jolly Roger and Freshmen and Los Conquistadores. Mrs. Kathleen K. Horne, Big Stone Gap, who has an A.B. from William and Mary College, teaches Home Economics. She has charge of the Lunchroom, and is sponsor of the F.H.A. Science 8 and History 9 are taught Mr. Carroll Reece Jones, Big Stone Gap. He received a B.S. from East T State College and an M.A. from George Peabody College. He is and is an Eighth Grade sponsor. Miss Billie Jean Scott, Big Stone of Lincoln Memorial University with an A.B, teaches English 8, 9, Eighth Grade Sponsor. Miss Beth Siphers, East Stone Gap, who Business Education and Office Administration from the University of Tennessee Typing, Introduction to Business, is a Freshman class sponsor and Secretary Principal. Mr. Joe D. Starnes, Fort Blackmore, graduated from Milligan College a B.S. and received his M.S. from the University of Kentucky. He is Coach, Director of Physical Education, and teaches Science 9. He sponsors the Varsity Club and a Freshman class. Miss Jeanette Weiss,M Appalachia, who has a B.S. in Retailing from the University of Tennessee teaches Typing, Bookkeeping, Business Law, and English 8.
