TOMMYE BRANHAM Secretary-Treasurer .......... GARNETT GILLIAM Gilly, Branham, Gilliam BZ ITIEU We freshmen this year were very anxious to begin our iourney through high school. Our dream at last began to seem a reality. Under the faithful guidance of Coach Starnes, Mrs. Giles, and for the first term, Miss Gentry and later, Miss Siphers, we have been very successful in our work. We have been well represented this year in school activities. Tommye Branham was elected to the Camera Club while nineteen freshmen served in the band. Tommye Branham and Martha Gilly took part in the work of the safety patrol. There were eight members of our class in the Glee Club and fourteen in the Roman Club. When football season come around, we were proud to see Garnett Gilliam, Carl Smith, Johnny Dorton, Gary Clark, George Litton, Kenneth Myers, and Bobby Bailey on the team. We had a good representation in basketball as well as in other activities. We are all sincere in hoping to maintain the best of records throughout our high school days. .i
