SCHOOL BUARD Seated: Kenneth Wagner, Marlin T. Keller, secretaryg Leroy Pomraning, presidentg Donald T. McCullough, treasurerg William McCrea. Standing: R. David Hunsecker, Melvin Hench, Fredrick Bistline, Wayne Wood. This year has been a period of change and unrest in educational institutions all over the world. Much of this activity has taken the form of rebellion against society. How can this type of behavior contribute to the betterment of society? Here at Big Spring, however, we as a School District have effected many changes that we hope will contribute to the betterment of society. We are planning more changes for the next year, particularly in relation to the opening of the new Junior High School. We feel these changes are most necessary in a constantly changing world. The orderliness and cooperation in these changes are a tribute to the staff and pupils of our District. We of the Board of Education look to the Big Spring graduates to be the responsible citizens and future leaders of our area. We have, through the tax money paid by our citizens, provided the resources to help you develop into this type of citizen. ln the final analysis, it is up to you to accept this responsibility.
