ORE WURD Nancy Evelhoch, C0-editor Remember regaining the Little Brown J ug from our rivals, the Greyhounds, enjoying George Washington Slept Here, winning the Blue Mountain League Wrestling Championship, losing the basketball game to Shippensburg by just two points, crying at the finale of South Pacific, and dancing to Love is Blue at the Junior Prom? These memories plus many others have been preserved for you in the 1969 Big Spring by the hard work of the Yearbook Staff. In years to come, we hope that the ups and downs of the 1968-69 school year at Big Spring will be remembered through the means of this yearbook. X x? The yearbook staff and the class of 1969 are proud to dedicate the 1969 Big Spring Yearbook to Mr. Ray C. Fry, Director of Secondary Education. During his sixteen years as both teacher and educational leader, he has devoted his efforts to the improvement of the educational program, both academically and vocationally. His loyalty to Big Spring is reflected in the many additional hours he may be observed working at his desk or supporting a student activity. His quiet, knowledgeable manner gives confidence to those with whom he works-whether they be students, teachers, or parents. We dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Fry not only to honor him for his many accomplishments, but also to assure him that we will prove worthy of his high hopes and aspirations.
