They were: Lynn Reid, Anna Marie George, Joann Rolar, Sylvia Stabnau, Frank Zeigler, Mildred Martin, Donald Drexler, Clinton Beckner, and james Rhinehart. Our Sophomore Hop Stair- way to the Starsl' was held on December 3, 1953, at Memorial Ha . The dancers danced to the music of Leo Runk and his orchestra. eu, 'T Q, ll Z? I 7.11 ... Eid' , egg Fil 'Z 0 ay,19ss The beginning of the first act took place September, 1952, when 86 freshmen came into Newville High School to begin a four-year pro- duction. We were divided into three sections with Mr. Porter, Mr. Rager, and Miss Plough as our advisors. Each homeroom elected its officers. To make us feel a part of the cast the Class of 1955 honored us at the Freshman-Senior Party on january 14. After the Freshman-Senior Party we felt as if we belonged to the upper- classmen. 1, If 5344 in ' The annual school play, ' E! ' K 'Ramshackle Inn, had five of ig our members in the cast. They ,. were Frank Zeigler, Clinton - Beckner, Donald Drexler, jo- anne Varner, and Anna Marie George. The Easter program was conducted by the Senior Tri-Hi-Y in the Big Spring Presby- W terian Church. n .
