, va Wx Gy 2 CLASS PROPHECY On our way home we pass through a small town in Arkansas called Sweetwater junction where they are having a festival and who do they have for entertainment? No one but Dorothy jacoby and her jubilee Makers! They are having a good old-fashioned hoe-down with Yodelin' jim Mentzer doing the calling. if f We leave Sweetwater junc- tion and head for the Sunshine Land of Florida. We go out on the beach our first day there to soak up as much sun as possi- V ble before leaving for home. - .L-.-- ,,,,..-.,-,-.A 'V- X, ,...,g . XY'hile lying on the beach we see three beautiful young women approaching us. As they come closer we recognize them as none other than our former class- mates, Patsy Boyd, Neva Ginter, and Frances Whistler. They tell us they are on vacation for a week. XVe swim a while and then go down town for a snack. XVe walk into a small restaurant and get waited on by another friend, Mary Armold. Tipping the waitress, we start for home, stopping only at Washing- ton, D. C., where Phyllis Varner and Lois Roush are working for Luttman and Liddle, Attorneys. Recalling memories of our senior class trip we final trek home. T5 I-,, . Q At the sight of New- ville we notice the high school. NVe're greeted at the door by Wfilma Cohick, the Home Eco- nomics instructor. We were divided into two sections with Miss Plough and Mr. Rob- inson as our directors. To make us feel as part of the cast, the seniors, Class of 1952, honored us at our first school party in the gymnasium on September 28, 1951. iii O f x , I gs Z? :E XT .Egg . gf After this Senior-Freshman party, the production with our fellow cast members, the upper classmen, was really . under way. Selected for the leading roles of the first act were Max- -- ine Highlands, President, Wally Drexler, Vice President, Lavana Graham, Secretary, and Ross Smith, Treasurer. Two buses filled with curious freshmen motored to Harrisburg on April 30 to familiarize themselves with important state build- The Easter program in the H, Big Spring Presbyterian Church 5 Wu: l 'xikr .I QS if ings.
