DISTRIBUTIVE EDUCATION CLUB Distributive Education is a vocational program designed fo r High School juniors and Seniors who are preparing for the re- tail, whole s ale, and service selling occupations. This group receives double Credit for their wor k, one for the job and one for class work, and thus graduate with their respective classes. One half day is s pent on the job down town in their de sir e d training station. This prepares s tude nt s to earn a living and t r ain and helps b ridg e the gap between school and full-time employment after graduation. The young People of the Distributive Education Clubs hold as their primary aim the development of a high degree of- eader- ship and citizenship--which is consistent with American busi- ness ideals of private enterprise and competition.
