OY' CZWOV We have planned this 1945 El Rodeo to be as good as war limitations will permit. We did not carry out a definite theme this yean but tried to have as much originality as possible. If we have succeeded in capturing life at B S H S as a memento for fu- ture years, we have a- chieved our purpose. May this book bring you many happy memories in future years.

Dczdicdlclom We dedicate the 1945 El Rodeo to the former students who have served and those yet to serve so bravely and so well in this war 0 Especially do we wish to commemorate those who have been captured or missing in action or have sacrificed their lives for their country and ours. Since several boys are missing in action and since no list can be com- plete until the war is won and the score is in, we felt it too great a task to try 'to compile a list of these. And then more may be added before the book is out. We hereby pledge to all of them our every ef- fort in carrying on the fight that they might not have died in vain.
