Dedication We, the Annual S i a f f of 1974, wish to dedicate this book to Mr, Robert Schwartz. Mr. Schwartz came to Big Sandy after teaching in Havre for a year and continued teaching here until his retirement in 1973. During his 29 years of teaching at Big Sandy he has proven himself to be successful as a coach and teacher. Under his leadership, the football and basketball teams were at the top of their divisions during the years of 1944-52. During these same years Mr. Schwartz taught several subjects in- cluding English, math, P. E., history, so- cial studies, band and psychology. He has helped many students in the Big Sandy school system more than they wUl ever realize.
