F.H.A. Sponsors Activities The F.H.A. Chapter was very active this year. On Oc- tober 16, it sponsored the an- nual talent show. Upper left, Greg Gullickson with Danny, his ventriloquist doll, is pictur- ed receiving first award from Dar Ophus. The Berlinger chil- dren , lower right, won second prize. Another event put on by the F.H.A. was Dewey day, held on September 7. Dewey Hannum was honored for his 15 years of janitorial service to the school. He is pictured here, upper right, with Mrs. Maxwell, F.H.A. sponsor, Kathi Kulbeck, and Carol Cooke. Lower left shows Carol presenting Dewey with a gift bought by the F.H.A. 14

Activities Held in October Saturday night, October 30, the Halloween dance, sponsored by the school administration and school board, was held. The Black Cat Trophy was won by the Class of '72 for the fifth consecutive time. Upper left pictures Amber Zaparynuk, far right, first prize winner; Randy Beaudette and Eric Skaalure, center, 2nd prize winners; and Bill Romine, left, 3rd prize winner. Upper right shows Harry Green at the dance. F.A.N. Day was held Saturday, October 9. Lower right shows high school students at the demolition derby held that afternoon. Pictured at lower left is the pit used for barbecuing the meat for the free supper that evening. 15
