Principal’s Message HOWARD W. HAMMOND University of Montana, B.A., M.A., High School Principal, Mathematics, Honor Society, Student Council. An old Greek philosopher once said, You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him to find it within himself. If this is true to any degree, it is my sincere hope that we have helped each student in some way to discover new and stimulating ideas within himself which will enable him to live in this present-day society as a happy, successful human being. It is also my wish that a sense of responsibility be one of these discoveries, responsibility based on love, justice, and compas- sion. The many extra hours of work by students, staff, and advisor to bring about the successful completion of this fine annual is real evidence of a keen sense of responsibility. I wish to congratulate the co-editors, Carol Chauvet and Cheryl Rutledge, and Mr. Les Graham, their advisor, on a job well done. 6
