Superintendent's Message Without a doubt the most memorable event of this school term will be the winning of the State Class B Basketball Championship; however, we must not allow this achievement to cause us to lose sight of our primary objec- tive in education. There are many ideas and statements on what the primary objective of education in the United States of America should be; however, in the final analysis we must accept academic excellence as the primary objective if our country is to remain free, strong and the leader in world affairs. All other objectives must be considered as secondary. Congratulations to the Class of '63. We know you will be a credit to your school, community and yourself. 2
