N T E N D E N T ’S One betrays himself if he does not make use of his past experience. This quotation is particularly appropriate to each and every student of school age today—education is built on past experiences and without the use of those experiences little or no education actually takes place. The Class of 1961 is the first class that has experienced four years of high school education since I have been administrator in Big Sandy; I hope and trust that these four years have been fruitful experiences for ail of the Class of 61, educationally speaking, and that you will make good use of them as you go on in life.
