SNEAK DAY Twenty-one jubilant and wide-awake seniors and four not-so-wide-awake chaperones left Big Sandy at four o'clock on the morning of May 13 for their annual senior sneak trip. Chap- erones were senior class sponsor, Mr. Delaney, Mr. Verlin Hurd, Mrs. Lucille Stack, and Mrs. Walt Kaste. The seniors' destination was Lake Blaine. On the way there the group stopped at Cut Bank and also toured Hungry Horse Dam. At Hungry Horse Dam LaVern and his heavy reading material. 15

SENIOR CLASS WILL We, the Senior Class of the Big Sandy High School, being about to pass out of this sphere of edu- cation in full possession of a crammed mind, do make and publish this our last will and testament. To Mr. Peck and Mr. Delaney, our sponsors, we leave our picture on the wall. This will be a con- stant reminder in future years that things could al- ways be worse. To Mr. Green we leave a brand new play, a brand new cast, and a brand new set of ulcers. Personal bequests are as follows: MARJORIE BRINKMAN leaves her hypnotic powers to Fay Osterman. DON DRGA wills his heart flutters to Gary Reichelt. GARY FOSS and BOB KASTE leave the stage- hand job with all its problems to whoever gets caught next year. GARY GALBAVY gladly leaves his sixth period English class to anyone who comes up short credits next year. He leaves his place in a houseful of pretty girls to his broth- er, Larry. JOYCE GILLESPIE leaves her place on the brides-to-be list to Marjorie Nepil. SHIRLEY GRUBB leaves the country road approaches to Ruda Haakensen. BILL HANDL leaves his alarm clock, his car, and the country roads to anyone who doesn't plan to attend first period classes. He also leaves a book of excuses to accompany the above bequest. RUTH HURD leaves her collection of boy friends and other souvenirs to Doris Slug- gett. JANET JENKINS wills her way with the high line boys to Gail Hannum. MARY ANN JIRSA gladly leaves school and exchanges her books for her horses. DARLENE KESSLER and DONNA TURK leave their assortment of correspondence courses to the high school. There are enough for all in this. JUDY BUSH and KARI KEUP leave their hiking jaunts and their interesting collections acquired on these to Joanne Galbavy and Patty Bush. CAROLYN KLIMAS leaves her many wads of chewing gum to next year’s office staff. LOIS KULBECK leaves her musical ability, the piano, the organ, and the tympani and saxophone to Allen Halverson. RAY LARSON leaves his ability to pilot the senior class through the troubled waters of their last year to Charlie Kli- mas. LAVERN NELSON leaves his ability to go with two girls at the same time to Sonny Broesder and Stan Klimas. President Ray Larson and Frances Boehm 16 Beat Vice President Kari Keup
