1956- 1957 The year opened with the class having some new additions. John Denis transferred from Butte, Gwen Stave blew in from Great Falls, and Don Glascoe came from North Dakota. Class officers were Bob Schwartz, President; Claude Miner, Vice President; Jean Pokorny, Secretary-Treasurer; Daryl Tichenor, Council Representative. Carnival Candidates for king and queen were Len Jappe and Gwen Stave, but the class's choice was not elected. The class play Follow the Girls was a big success. We said good-bye to the seniors by honoring them at the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom. The theme was Japanese Tea Gardens. Closing the year, the class decorated and ushered at the Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises. 1957- 1958 Roll call was taken on September 7. We found that we missed the face of Doris Stone. This year class officers were Daryl Tichenor, President; Len Jappe, Vice President; Wilma Krumsick, Secretary-Treasurer; Gail Hagan, Council Representative. Candidates for Carnival king and queen were Irene Bitz and Gary Geyer. Wanda Clixby and Marge Glasoe departed from our class at Christmas time. Cather- ine Contway, from Malta, was with us for a short time in the second semester. The Juniors honored us with the Prom banquet and dance this year. Gwen Stave and David Ensley were crowned king and queen at midnight. May 11, 12, and 13, found us on sneak trip. We all enjoyed ourselves. The year closed with the Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises on May 18 and May 24. 15

We were honored at the Activity Ticket Sales Dance as we had sold the most tickets. 1955- 1956 We started our Sophomore year with twenty-five in the class. We found we had lost Doris Youso, Jancye Roudin, Bob Dyer, Bonnie Lidstone, and Janet McKeever. We gained Marita Brooks, Bob Ragan, and Janice Conn during the year. Joanne Benson also joined the class. Class officers were elected as follows: President, Bob Schwartz; Vice President, Jean Pokorny; Secretary-Treasurer, Deana Hurd; Council Representatives, Gail Hagan and Daryl Tichenor. With the Carnival coming up, we elected Deana Hurd and Bob Schwartz as our candidates, but we weren't as lucky as in our Freshman year. We put on the Athletic Banquet towards the end of the year.
