PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Dear Seniors, We wish to express our appreciation to you for attempting this very worthwhile enterprise. The compiling of a book of this type is a tremendous undertaking. It is not fun. It re- presents many tedious and painstaking hours of work on the part of many. Although it has great current value to the School and to the Public in general, its value to you will become compounded many fold as the years go by. As you move out from School Life into Life's School and journey down life's devious and arduous pathway, you will, in retrospect, come to cherish this volume more and more as time passes. Again may we congratulate your editor, the annual staff and your genial sponsors for this very fine project brought to a very successful conclusion. In closing, may I wish each member of the Class of 1954, health, happiness, and, of course, success in whatever field of endeavor he chooses to pursue.
