CLASS PROPHECY CON’T. Remember the Bahnmiller sisters? They also have done a wonderful job. Esther is the new Secretary to the United Nations, and she has really been busy. Meanwhile Anna has done a wonderful job of teaching and has just been nominated Teacher of the Year. Roberta Swanson is also a teacher. She has been appointed Dean of Home Economics in the college at Bozeman. As the rocket slowly starts to land on the moon and the two former class- mates start to fasten their safety belts, they cease looking at the past and the wonderful times they had in Big Sandy High School and look into an exciting future. CLASS PROPHECY CON’T. There's also a new corporation called the Dry-Land Farmers. David Archibald is President. Ronald Christofferson, Swede to us, David Tyler and Jerry Eve also belong to it. They are really making it a success. Remember Edna Miller? She has become a very successful interior decora- tor. In fact she has just refinished the White House. Then there's Mary Ellen Darlington. She has become a leading beautician in Hollywood. At the present she is employed by Raymond Scott, who is owner of Scott's Motion Picture Studios. Ray has just invented 4-D. Patty Allderdice also works at the Studios as Scott's personal telephone operator. Mary's sister, Nora, is the leading model at the Streamline Modeling Company. She has just modeled a page of space suits in last month's Vogue. She has really made a name for herself. The next step for her is Hollywood, so I hear. Don Lidstone hasn’t been doing so badly either. With his personality he has quite a following of fans and is often called Will Rogers the Second. At the present time he is starring in the story of his life — The Don Lidstone Story, soon to be released by Scott’s Studios. Laurence Hoge is also down in California but for a different purpose. He plays professional football with the LOS ANGLES RAMS, and has won the title of All-American. Ida Snow and Cathy Maxwell are making news with their wonderful Doctor and Nurse team at Rochester. They have just found a serum that will cure almost all diseases. Shirley Trunk is their labratory technician and is doing a wonderful job of helping them. Linda, have you been watching T.V. lately? Marlene Berg is on the Betty Crocker Program and demonstrates cooking. Charlene Lohse has set a new record. She is the fastest brick-layer in the world, and with the help of all her little brick-layers she is trying to do even better. My, Shirley, but our class has really done wonders! Roger Williams owns the biggest Dude Ranch in America. It's right in the Bear Paw Mountains, and I hear all the famous people go there. Why even the Queen of England spent her vacation there this summer! Roger isn't the only one still around Montana. Max Jolicoeur is right in Big Sandy and is Superintendent of Schools there. POEM In the fall of 1950 The doors were open wide; And thirty bashful freshmen Coyly stepped inside. They peered around the corner, And what should meet their stare. But all the mighty seniors With paddles, waiting there. With initiation over And the greenness fading fast. An appropriate return party Proved to be the first big task. In 1951 you heard The slamming of the doors, And we progressed quite rapidly As magnanimous sophomores. Emily Post had helped us With her book of etiquette, And we put on, for the athletes. An exquisite banquet. Drums of Death, in our junior year Was the big hit of the day. This exciting mystery, full of fear. Was our memorable Junior Play. Winding up our junior year It then became our scheme To keep our prom name secret— Deep Purple was our theme. Now we, the mighty seniors. Wish to express appreciation To our parents and our teachers. For the Key to Education. --Nora Darlington Ida Snow This page sponsored by C L - - Big Sandy
